These camps are for kids grade Kinder through 6th grade. Each child’s swim level must be evaluated prior to camp to determine activity group.

Waterloo’s Camp mission is to help ensure water safety and awareness and cultivate a love for all physical activities in and around water. These are half-day camps full of swimming, fun crafts and games, and the opportunity to learn and grow swimming skills!

Camp Information

Camp Hours: 9a-12p (early drop-off / late pick-up not available)
Camp Requirements: 6yr+ by May 2024 and completed Orange level skills
Camp Cost: $140 per week / drop-in rate $45 per day (pending availability)

Camp Schedule:
9:00a-9:15a: Drop off and welcome
9:15a-10:00a: Structured dry activities
10:00a-10:15a: Change to suits / restroom break
10:15a-10:45a: Structured swim activities
10:45a-11:00a: Snack (parent supplied)
11:00a-11:45a: Free swim
11:45a-12:00p: Pick up

Waterloo Spring Break Camp Frequently Asked Questions

When should I drop off and pick up my child?
Camp begins at the designated start time each day. There is no early/late drop-off/pick-up. Camp hours are a 9a-12p. Any parent dropping off a swimmer before the start of camp or picking up after camp ends may be subject to dismissal from the camp without a refund.
Will snacks be provided during the day?
No, Waterloo will not have snacks on hand for your camper, so it is important to send your camper each day with a healthy snack that does not require refrigeration or heating and a bottle of water. Please make sure all items are labeled with your child’s name. If your child has an allergy, please be sure to notify the camp counselors so we can ensure your child’s safety.
What are the camp requirements?
To safely participate in the Summer Swim Safety Camp and Mermaid Camp, swimmers are required to be evaluated at Waterloo’s White-level skills or above and be 6 years of age. To safely participate in the Summer Swim Fitness Camp, swimmers are required to have graduated Waterloo’s Intermediate level, or have been evaluated and know all four competitive strokes, and be at least 6 years of age.
Who can pick up my child?
Only adults who are listed on your child’s camp registration form as Authorized Adults will be allowed to pick your child up. Adults must bring with them a valid photo ID.
What is the cancellation policy?
Changes or Cancellations for credit must be made 72 hours in advance. You can request a change or cancellation by emailing info@waterlooswimming.com.
