We are excited to offer you American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Learning.

The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/ CPR/AED course is to teach those with a duty to act the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies until more advanced medical personnel take over. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest.

To successfully complete the course, Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Please plan to complete all eLearning modules, including the CPR/AED for final eLearning exam, at least two days prior to your first in-person skills session. Participants must pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80 percent.

Some skill sessions require strenuous physical activity. Please wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing dangling jewelry or jewelry with sharp edges. If you have a medical condition or disability or if you have any questions regarding your ability to participate fully in this course, discuss this with your health care provider and your instructor before you start the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Red Cross First Aid/ CPR/AED for certificate, valid for 2 years.
