She also makes it a point to stay current on the most recent and relevant exercise science to provide the most effective programming available.
About Charlotte Lake
Charlotte Lake began her years of experience with exercise and fitness as a student athlete in high school where she developed a passion for resistance training and its applications to sport. She went on to graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, an interdisciplinary field that studies the science of human movement.
She has used her accumulated knowledge in her over 12 years of experience teaching people of all ages and abilities how to swim and as a competitive swim coach. She is currently certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and is actively pursuing a Certified Sport Performance Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She also makes it a point to stay current on the most recent and relevant exercise science to provide the most effective programming available.
As a firm believer in continuing education, she has continued to expand her skills and knowledge after her studies at Arizona State in a variety of scientific and philosophical fields to develop her own personal approach to fitness and athletic training. Over time, she has come to appreciate the benefits of a holistic approach that takes into account all the different aspects of an athlete including their biology, psychology, and social lives.
