Hi this is Brooke from Waterloo Swimming in Austin, Texas and I am here to talk to you about after practice snacks.

So you have a snack right after practice. A lot of the times people make the mistake of waiting until they get home or waiting until after they change. And you really have about a 30 minute window to get your snack in. So I always encourage my swimmers to bring those snacks on deck, put a snack in their parka and eat it as they’re walking out the door. Really good examples of great after practice snacks are chocolate milk, cheese sticks and watermelon. This is Brooke from Waterloo Swimming and I am wishing you a great practice.
