In this video we will be working on our posture and flutter kicks for backstroke. This drill is applicable to Orange/White/Novice 1/Novice 2 and Intermediate level swimmers at Waterloo. Lay flat on your back with your head in a neutral position with your eyes looking up at the ceiling. Next, think about flattening out your back and pushing your hips up towards the ceiling. Finally, point your toes away from you, pick your legs up no more than 6 inches off the ground and alternate each leg by moving them up and down simultaneously.
